Collective dormitory isolation cabin
These are temporary container houses urgently built during the pandemic to quickly respond to the needs of centralized quarantine and temporary accommodation. Their efficient and practical design provides a solid guarantee for epidemic prevention and control. The containers are constructed using standard flat-pack modular units, each measuring 6 meters in length, 3 meters in width, and 2.89 meters in height. Their compact and regular dimensions facilitate rapid transportation and assembly, and allow for flexible adaptation to different site layouts. The entire project comprises 1,500 container houses, a sufficient scale to simultaneously meet the quarantine accommodation needs of a large number of people, effectively alleviating the pressure of tight quarantine facilities during the pandemic. Each modular housing unit is equipped with complete living facilities, including a full supply of water and electricity. From basic lighting and water supply to all the necessary amenities for daily living, it fully guarantees the basic quality of life for those in quarantine. The modular construction method not only significantly shortens the construction cycle, allowing the modular housing to be put into use in a short time, but also offers the advantages of convenient assembly and disassembly and reusability. It efficiently responds to the urgent needs of epidemic prevention and control while adhering to the concept of resource-efficient construction, becoming an important epidemic prevention carrier for protecting public health during this special period. During the housing installation phase, efficiency is significantly improved: up to 200 people can work together, completing the installation of 300 units per day. Considering the cold climate in Xinjiang, the wall panels are specially made of 75mm thick rock wool sandwich panels to ensure excellent thermal insulation. The housing is a flat container design with a light steel structure; the roof and floor are prefabricated components, requiring only a crane, and two workers can quickly complete the installation of a single unit. The house is fully equipped with a private bathroom, beds, and a dedicated activity area to meet daily living needs; it also features a central kitchen made of multiple flat shipping containers, which can prepare meals for 60 people at the same time.
